India’s ODI preparations in England
Team India has commenced preparations for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England, with the focus shifting from Southampton to Birmingham. Key players including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah have joined the squad at Edgbaston as they gear up for the 50-over format encounters. The series is scheduled to begin on July 14.
KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav, and left-arm pacer Gurnoor Brar were also present during the initial training sessions. Shubman Gill, who is set to captain the ODI squad, is expected to rejoin the team after his commitments in the fifth and final T20I match against England in Southampton.

The support staff for Team India will be divided between the two squads as the T20I series concludes and the ODI squad fully assembles in Birmingham. One segment of the support staff will remain with the T20I team, while another has already begun working with the ODI squad.
Rohit Sharma’s record against England
All eyes will be on Rohit Sharma as Team India prepares to face England. He has been a significant contributor to India’s white-ball success, and his performance against England has been notable. His record in ODIs played on English soil is particularly strong.
