Last season, he scored 12 goals and provided nine assists in 33 Bundesliga matches, missing only one league game due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations. His contributions helped Leipzig secure a third-place finish and qualify for the 2026-27 Champions League.
The 19-year-old winger’s playing style is characterized by unpredictable enterprise and quick movements. He is known for his dribbling ability, with reports suggesting he attempted to dribble past opponents more often than any other player in the German top flight last season, maintaining a high success rate among wingers across Europe with at least 50 take-on attempts.
Diomande has also made his mark on the international stage, scoring three times in 14 appearances for Ivory Coast.
